The Ardent Circle

Fiercely devoted to the Alliance and each other, the Ardent Circle is a knightly guild of like-minded individuals that strive to bring light to a darkened world.

The Circle is a fellowship which operates in service to the Alliance - keeping watch for nearby enemies, assisting magistrates in dispensing justice, procuring relief and aid to settlements in desperate need, investigating crimes and crises, and countless other efforts, including assisting its allies all across the world(s)!

Operating as a heavy RP guild on Wyrmrest Accord (US), the Circle aims to bring engaging and immersive content to members and non-members alike.

The Ardent Circle is a fellowship of Knights based out of Seastone Keep-- which is situated on the western shores of the Eastern Kingdoms, between Stranglethorn Vale and the southern end of Westfall. From there, the Circle works to defend Alliance interests and safeguard the nearby territories from all manner of threats, whether it be the Burning Legion, the Scourge, the vile and treacherous Horde, or any other force that would dare to challenge the Alliance.

We keep the OOC structure and positions of authority in the order to a minimum for the purposes of retaining a sharp focus on the "in character" aspects of our guild. It's important to be clear that the Circle is a fellowship, not a strict military order. We have two councils to guide and govern the order, comprised of veteran members whose characters have achieved the rank of Knight or Councilor.

In order to keep the peace, the Ardent Circle is comprised of two "councils" that vote on and govern the members within: the Knight council, and the "Upper Council" consisting of 1-5 Councilors.

Knights

Able to vote on most concerns, as well as inducting or removing Fellows, other Knights, and Councilors, the Knights are pinnacle members of the Ardent Circle. Each member of the council must display dedication and followthrough in what they do to be considered, but the ability to move up the ladder is not out of reach for most ambitious Fellows should they wish to pursue the rank.

Councilors

Able to decide on where the Circle moves next and how they do so-- as well as mediating debates and determining responses to give to Crown summons and other important factors-- the Councilors aim to be the mouthpieces of the Ardent Circle. Their primary focus is to let the Knights focus on more pressing matters while they fulfill duties like troop movement and base changes.

The Ardent Circle generally includes room and board costs, as well as food and other supplies. This is a part of the salary package. Members can choose not to live on the base, but they are required to be somewhere fluid so that if the Circle's base is in danger, they are able to quickly respond.

Please note: all monetary salaries are given ICly, NOT OOCly!

OOC Policies

1. Be respectful to all members and players-- both inside and outside of the guild.

2. All characters must be level 81 or higher in order to access the Lion’s Landing phase in Krasarang Wilds (Pandaria).

3. If you have beef, arguments, or issues with another member, resolve them privately, and do not bring drama or issues into guild chat or Discord. If you need the assistance of another person to help mediate/resolve the issue, seek out any admin OOCly.

4. The OOC/NPC rank is not for characters who simply don’t fit the guild/are not seeking membership.

5. All members are encouraged to craft and run their own stories/plot lines, but in order to keep things organized, please check in with an admin regarding scheduling if you want to host a large campaign.

6. Players are not their characters. If we remove one of your characters from the guild ICly, you are welcome back on another character, unless otherwise stated (e.g., if your character ends up fighting with another member, and is dismissed from the Order, you can bring in an alt with no issue).

Knights of the Ardent Circle

Centori Dellanir
Councilor

Motivated by the idea of peace, Ambassador Centori does her best to mediate tense circumstances and come up with alternate solutions. However, she is a long lived Quel'dorei ranger and knows that sometimes peace only comes through blood. Those she holds dear serve as the motivation to keep Centori moving forward, careful to mind the balance between peace, and the all out chaos of war.

Allie Sweetsong
Knight

Allie is a ranger who values loyalty and family above all else. She has dedicated her life to the protection of others, even though it is not uncommon to find her disagreeing with those she fights to defend. Formerly from Quel'thalas, Allie strives to make sure the people of the Alliance know safety and a world without war.

Cellesta Echosong
Knight

A wild, untamed woman deeply bound to her people's customs and traditions, Cellesta's faced countless struggles as a result of her past, including the loss of her eyes. Forced to adjust, she's gained sight through the arcane, and works now to protect her allies and atone for her mistakes.

Dighton Davenwell
Knight

A pious and soft spoken individual, Dighton has faithfully served the Alliance as both a Knight of the Silver Hand and a commanding officer in the military for years, and the experience he’s obtained through that service has made him an excellent fighter and military strategist.

Karidak Dellanir
Knight

A lifelong soldier, Karidak Dellanir strikes an imposing figure; he is fierce in a fight and incredibly loyal to those he calls friend or family. While he may take a while to warm up to people, those that he learns to trust find themselves having a friend that would do anything in his power to help.

Olivier Wyman
Knight

Struggling to prove her value and worth in a doubtful world, Olivier pushes against the odds, and has persevered through the worst of her troubles, and continues to strive forward, to rise above the doubts that have weighed her down, and to make her mark upon the world of Azeroth.

Pensife Puretrigger
Knight

A well-practiced doctor and engineer, Pensife is a strong advocate for gnomish ideals. He prefers sedentary work in the comfort of a lab workshop, but will set aside his dispositions to aid his allies in the field with advanced technology and medicines at his fingertips.

Peyton Hallowmar
Knight

Having witnessed the First War and beyond with her own eyes, Peyton Hallowmar has been a hotheaded soldier of the Alliance for most of her life. A much older woman now, she uses her experience to assist others so that history does not repeat itself. Peyton serves as a quiet, but wise influence in the Circle.

Rosemary Glasford
Knight

A former sellsword and an opportunist with a sordid past, Rosemary is a prideful woman whose perceived failures have compounded with the Worgen curse to bring her deep shame. Her burdens weigh heavily on her shoulders, and she has now sworn her allegiance to the Circle with hopes of vindicating herself.

Fighting zeppelins, siege engines, and battleships, the Circle focused their efforts on finding and defeating the evil orcish warmaster that led the attack.

Through astounding perseverance and high cost, the Circle banded together to defeat the combined forces of the Horde and end the Warmaster's reign once and for all.

Last Hope

Aided by Annie Alden, the order delved into Drustvar in order to investigate the disappearance of villagers and the strange happenings that plagued Fallhaven. The Shepherds-- an order of priests dedicated to relief aid-- joined forces with the Circle in order to drive the Coven's forces from the town.

Later, the Circle found out they had been duped, and the Shepherds were actually a chapter of cultists that served N'zoth, using their "relief aid" items to turn villagers into mindless k'thir. The Circle eventually defeated the leader of the Shepherds, Thayne, and restored order to the town.
